Privacy Policy

Data stored on your device

Luciv stores all of your personal data locally on your device only. This includes:

• Connection profiles you create (names, labels)
• Interaction logs (type, date, mood, notes)
• Insights, scores, and pattern data derived from your logs
• Weekly reports you generate
• Your PIN (stored in encrypted device storage)

None of this data is transmitted to our servers, shared with third parties, or backed up to the cloud. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device.

Anonymous usage analytics

Luciv collects a small number of anonymous, non-personal usage events to understand how the app is being used. These events are processed by PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform. The events contain no personal information and cannot be linked back to you:

• App opened
• Interaction logged
• Insights viewed
• Export used
• Import used

No connection names, interaction content, mood logs, notes, or any other personal information is included in these events. Each device is assigned a randomly generated anonymous ID solely for counting unique users. This ID contains no personal information and is not linked to you in any way.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Crash reports or error logs
• Any information about the people you track in the app

Data export and import

The Export Data feature lets you download a copy of all your data to your device. The Import Data feature lets you restore a previously exported backup. Both operations are performed locally on your device. We do not receive or store a copy of your export or import.

PIN lock

If you enable PIN lock, your 4-digit PIN is stored in encrypted local storage on your device using your device's secure enclave. We cannot access, reset, or recover your PIN.

Children's privacy

Luciv is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from users under 18. If you believe a child has used this app, please contact us so we can assist.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the next app update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
